Terms and conditions for registration for courses and masterclasses
When you register for a course or masterclass with Trooper, you also accept the terms and conditions below. The terms comply with applicable Danish law and are intended to ensure a clear and fair process for both parties.
1. Registration and payment. Registration takes place via the website or by direct contact. After registering, you will receive a confirmation by email, which serves as your receipt. Payment is made by invoice, which is sent after registration. All prices are stated exclusive of VAT unless otherwise indicated. The payment deadline is 14 days from the invoice date unless otherwise agreed, and your place on the course is only secured once payment has been received.
2. Cancellation and changes by Trooper. Trooper reserves the right to cancel or change the date of a course in the event of insufficient registrations, force majeure or other unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation, you will be informed as soon as possible and offered an alternative course date. If that is not possible, the course fee will be refunded in full. No refund is given for other costs, such as travel expenses.
3. Cancellation and transfer by the participant. Payment for the course is non-refundable. In the event of illness, the registration can be transferred to another course date at no additional cost – notice must be given in writing no later than 24 hours before the course starts; documentation may be required.
4. Changes by the participant. A change to another course date for reasons other than illness must be notified in writing no later than 14 days before the course starts. Later changes are treated as a cancellation without refund.
5. Liability. Trooper cannot be held liable for losses or costs resulting from changes, cancellations or delays caused by circumstances beyond Trooper's control. Participation is at your own risk.
6. Personal data. Trooper processes your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation – see the privacy policy.
Terms and conditions for Trooper ApS' services
These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by Trooper unless other terms have been agreed in writing. When the client accepts a quotation, the client also accepts these terms and conditions.
1. Purchase agreement and withdrawal. An agreement is concluded when Trooper receives the client's acceptance of the quotation – orally, in writing or by email. On conclusion, the client provides an address, CVR (company registration) number and email for invoicing. If an assignment is terminated early, notice must be given in writing, and the client will be invoiced for work carried out and for expenses that cannot be cancelled.
2. Quotations. All prices are exclusive of VAT. The quotation is conditional on materials being received as agreed, payment deadlines being met and the material being workable as assumed.
3. Copyright and intellectual property rights. Trooper retains ownership of and copyright in all material Trooper produces. The client acquires the right to use the finished product to the defined extent – the right of use is obtained when the product has been paid for in full. The product may not be passed on to third parties without written agreement. Extended rights, including source files, require a separate agreement and payment.
4. Material supplied by the client. The client supplies correct and necessary information and is responsible for ensuring that the material does not infringe third-party rights or contravene the law.
5. Approval and delivery. The client approves delivered products before publication or use. Trooper delivers as agreed, subject to delays caused by the client's actions, third parties or sudden circumstances. Once the product is in the client's hands, or the service has been completed, it is deemed delivered.
6. Defects and complaints. The client is entitled to remedy or a price reduction if the delivery deviates from the approved proof. Trooper is not liable for errors the client has not corrected at proof stage, or for errors in the client's own material. Complaints must be made within three working days of receipt.
7. Payment. For project agreements, 50% is invoiced on acceptance, 40% when half of the hours have been used, and 10% no later than two days after reporting. Payment is due no later than 8 days after the invoice date by bank transfer. In the event of late payment, interest of 3% p.a. is charged, together with a reminder fee of DKK 250 excl. VAT per reminder (maximum three), after which the matter is passed to debt collection.
8. Limitation of liability. Trooper's liability is limited to the amount of the agreement in question. Trooper is not liable for indirect losses such as loss of profit or loss of production and cannot be held responsible for the functionality of the internet or loss of data; the client is responsible for its own backup.
9. Force majeure. Trooper is released from its delivery obligations in the event of force majeure, including fire, flood, strike, lockout, power failure, illness or failed deliveries from third parties.
10. Subcontractors. Trooper is entitled to have work carried out by subcontractors.
11. Disputes. Any dispute shall be settled by arbitration under the rules of the Danish Institute of Arbitration (Voldgiftsinstituttet) with a single arbitrator.
12. Changes to terms and prices. Trooper reserves the right to change terms and prices with at least 30 days' notice. Prices are adjusted annually on 1 January without notice unless otherwise agreed.
13. Personal data. Trooper processes personal data in accordance with applicable legislation – read Trooper's privacy policy.
Data processing
Trooper stores and processes company information, contact details, order history and payment information for the purpose of providing services to the client. Data is stored securely and is not used for any other purpose. Trooper continually assesses when it is no longer necessary to store data, taking into account limitation periods and documentation of the work, among other things.
As part of carrying out assignments, Trooper may receive personal data from the client. This is processed as agreed with the client and in line with the purpose of the assignment, in accordance with the GDPR and the recommendations of the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet). The client warrants that the duty to inform the data subjects has been fulfilled. Where Trooper uses subcontractors, they process personal data solely on Trooper's instructions. You can contact Trooper about your rights at any time – and you can lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency via datatilsynet.dk.
